* 7. Letting GO

This is the final piece in the puzzle of law of attraction.

Here is in essence what it means:

while you declare your intention or desire and start to work towards achieving it, you must be prepared to accept something different or better than what you want.

In other words, once you have you intended something, visualized it clearly and in detail and acted upon your inspiration – you have to LET GO. This letting go means you are now placing your trust in the higher order of things. You are now saying to God “ from the limited perspective of my mind this is what I want – but you may give me this or something even better”

You are saying the golden words “O Lord, not my will, but Yours be done”

Each day before you go to bed, surrender to the universe by putting full faith in it, let the universe work on your desires even when you are sleeping.

Say this prayer before you retire:
"I let the universe take care of all the details and bring me what I ask for. I am grateful for this powerful assistance. I trust it 100%."

Excerpts from what others have said about ‘letting go’ and how it relates to universal and natural law of attraction . . .

Frances Larimer Warner – (Our Invisible Supply - 1907)

“If we plant a seed in the ground we know that the sun will shine and the rain will water, and we leave it to the Law to bring results...

Well, the desire you image is the seed, your occasional closing of the eyes in imagery is the sun, and your constant, though not anxious, expectation is the rain and cultivation necessary to bring absolutely sure results...”

. . . even nature demands that we be still, in order for her to get in her perfect work.

You will have to relax your hold upon all of these desires before you ever attain them.

This sounds paradoxical, of course, but the ways of Spirit are directly opposed to those of nature. You see you are bound up in your desires and so you are binding your present condition fast and not even giving it a chance to wiggle loose; so let go, relax, say you don't care—and feel it

Just try for one week letting all of these worries alone and see if it is not in result like that of nature's sweet restorer, sleep.

Write no conciliatory letters but leave it wholly to this great adjuster and you will be gratified beyond measure. Divine Justice has opened prison doors and set the captive free when human law had failed utterly. It is easily entreated and full of mercy. In your case nonresistance is very essential.

Joe Vitale – (Spiritual Marketing, The Attractor Factor – 1999, 2005)

“What’s the hardest part to creating life the way you want it?”
“Learning to stop figuring out how you will get what you want.”

“If you try to figure out how you will get that new car, or that new house, or that new relationship, you’ll limit yourself to what your ego can see and do,”

“Turn your goal over to your unconscious, which is connected to the spirit of everything and everyone, and let it bring the goal to you and you to the goal. Just follow your inner promptings and act on the opportunities that come your way, and you’ll get there.”
